Our next goal is to be able to furnish the new school with desks and chairs, whiteboards, bookshelves and books for a small library as part of the school.

A'KALA: The Children

A′KALA Family Foundation was started in April of 2019 with the help and support of the Ajcot family. Living in San Lucas, Guatemala, Chona and her children work to provide food and clothing to single mothers and their children. A'KALA joins their ministry, providing hope, food, clean water, housing, education, and healthcare to families in need.

A'KALA is the Ketchiqkel word for 'The Children.' Ketchiqkel is a native Mayan dialect spoken in San Lucas. A'KALA is for the children.
